Coach Brian Harper
Has a Masters in Exercise Physiology from Penn State. He began fencing when he was 19 when he joined the fencing team at Penn State. He holds two National Saber Championships and has also been on the Veteran's World Team representing the United States in Portland Oregon, Budapest Hungary and Martinique France. He has acquired over 28 National metals throughout his fencing career.
Coach Harper has created champions in Saber, Foil and Epee and is a Nationally Certified referee in all three weapons.
He has developed a level system that allows individuals to progress at their own rate.
Has been one of the top saber fencers in the state of Florida for the past 15 years. He has over 23 years of experience in all 3 fencing disciplines (Saber,Foil,Epee) and uses innovative coaching techniques to bring out the best in our academy fencers.
His fun, high energy coaching style is combined with patience and knowledge of the sport. This combination has helped his students earn A ratings, win metals at International, national, state and local competitions as well as earn spots on national teams.
He is also a certified referee in all 3 weapons and a USFA Professional Member.
Focuses on epee with foil and saber cross training for over seven years and has worked with Olympic pentathlete Omar Elgizery. Dylan teaches to use simple actions at perfect distance to achieve the best result with maximum efficiency.
He's earned national points in div1 and finished top 64 in div one epee, and won open epee sunshine state games. Now he's is training for the Olympics in epee and to qualify for national championships.
Has been fencing foil for nearly a decade under former National Champion Alan Chernomashentsev of Ivov, Russia. Lucas has a profound appreciation for technique, and firmly believes that progress is a result of perfecting the basics. He also possesses a unique style of training that he acquired from years of foreign instruction.
His accurate style, backed by in-depth understanding of foil fencing, leads his students to not only desire to achieve, but also enjoy the process of becoming a top-tier fencer. Furthermore, he offers a relatable and proven approach to coaching that students of all ages react positively to.
He is a nationally certified foil referee, and has experience with students of all ages. Lucas not only founded his own fencing program at a local high school, but also coached summer camps and intramural programs for the last 3 years.

Harrison Hue- Began fencing at the age of nine at The Miami Fencing Club Incorporated. Hue trained under two Moniteurs d’Escrime (Certified Mentors of Fencing) The late Michael Elder and Maestro Maximo Tack-Feng; a former Olympian and National Coach for Cuba and Mexico. For five years, Coach Hue participated in advanced foil and bouting scenarios. At 15 he was chosen by Maestro Tack-Feng to join the competitive sabre team. Hue remained on the team in his high school years; becoming captain his senior year. Harrison is now attending The University of Florida, competing on the collegiate team. At the moment, Harrison is preparing to compete against Division I NCAA Athletes and National Team members. Harrison offers private lessons, yet recommends dedicated fencers over the age of 13 apply for lessons*. Harrison prides himself on competing with intensity, winning with humility, and fighting until the last touch. These intangibles will be ingrained within the fencer, and will last throughout their fencing career.
